Deflated Gravity

So you think you're not afraid
you think you're better
you're probably not awake

So you think you're destined for
for something better
you're assuming your own fate

When you come face to face
with the truth that stares right back - at you
swallowed up by the days
you stand outright with your pride - why does

The sun rises in the east
calling the moon at dusk
to awaken the night
the world's circling around
drawing the gravity
to keep us on our feets

Take a second look before you believe in your lies

So you think you're like a god
could there be better
you're reasoning is deflate

So you think you're looking down
like there's no better
you're assured it's no mistake

When you come face to face
with the truth that stares right back - at you
swallowed up by the days
you stand outright with your pride - why does

The sun rises in the east
calling the moon at dusk
to awaken the night
the world's circling around
drawing the gravity
to keep us on our feets

Take a second look before you believe in your lies
